Daylight Saving Time Changes – Are your Systems Ready?

Did you know that daylight saving time starts 3 weeks earlier this year? In August of 2005 the United States Congress passed the Energy Policy Act, which changes the dates of both the start and end of daylight saving time. This year, the new start date for daylight saving time is Sunday, March 11th and it will end on Sunday, November 4th.

This change will affect both Novell and Microsoft environments, and servers as well as workstations. Are you prepared for the change of daylight saving time? Are your severs patched to allow for a flawless switch? Are your XPP workstations fully patched to participate in the switch-over? If not, CPR is here to help make this transition as easy as possible. If you need to install Service Pack 2 (SP2) or if you simply need help with the updates, CPR can assist. Click here if you would like a CPR engineer to install the necessary updates for your environment.

The Data Center Alliance
CPR, Feyen-Zylstra, Hedrick Associates,

Data centers are a company's "nervous system," in more than one way...
Just like a human nervous system operates, data centers direct, connect and facilitate just about every vital function of a company including accounting, communications and security. Data Centers can also make you feel "nervous" in that they are expensive, complex systems that require specialized experience to plan, install and maintain.

Whether you are upgrading your current space or building a new one, the Data Center Alliance has the expertise to get the job done.

The Data Center Alliance is a group of companies joined together to bring a single-source solution to your business. We are industry leaders you likely already know and trust: CPR, Feyen-Zylstra, Hedrick Associates and Rockford Construction.

Our expertise involves information technology design, electrical design & engineering, environmental control & infrastructure as well as construction management that includes architectural & structural design.
