Technology Feature of the Month —
Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 Platinum Edition

Citrix has recently released its industry leading Presentation Server 4.5 Platinum Edition. Current users can take advantage of using their money budgeted for Subscription Advantage and upgrade to Presentation Server 4.5 Platinum Edition. This greatly lowers the cost of upgrading and users receive a year of Subscription Advantage at no charge

Features included in Presentation Server 4.5 Platinum include:
SSL VPN with Smart Access, providing the ability to control what a user can do with an application based on device.
Application Performance Monitoring, giving IT visibility into application performance and the end user experience. Provides quick troubleshooting for application performance issues.
Application Streaming provides IT the ability to Stream Applications to desktops or Presentation Servers. It also helps eliminate hours and days of regression testing by running applications in an isolated environment.
Single Sign On Password Manager allows IT and users a better, more secure way of managing passwords. Password Manager helps lower help desk costs, improve security, and provide better administration of passwords.
SpeedScreen Progressive Display provides tremendous graphics resolution and user interaction for applications like PACS and GIS.

CPR Announces Technical Team Growth
CPR is excited to announce the addition of Ryan Aron to our staff. Ryan joined CPR as a Network Engineer focused on delivering Cisco solutions. Mr. Aron has over four years of experience in the technology industry, with the bulk of his experience in Cisco LAN/WAN/Security Solutions. Mr. Aron is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Virtual Private Network (VPN) Specialist, and also a Cisco Firewall Specialist. He is also working to become a Cisco Certified Security Professional.

In addition, CPR has hired 7 engineers to support various on-site West Michigan Accounts. Corporate Technologies San Diego, CA, Minneapolis, MN and Fargo, ND offices have collectively added 31 employees. Jim Griffith, CEO of Corporate Technologies stated, “Corporate Technologies growth is a sign of the need for quality, affordable IT support. Our Technology Advantage Program brings high level IT services to small and medium sized businesses.”

In June, CPR introduced Dale Wine, Technology Advantage Sales Manager, we are now excited to introduce the CPR Technology Advantage Sales Team. Joining our team on July 2nd: Andrew Bishop, Jeremy Fisher, Corey Doll, Steve Sommerdyke, Zach Booker, and Christine Anderson. Each individual brings a variety of skills and experience, and first and foremost a strong commitment to customer service.

Technology Advantage is a program designed to meet the needs of business with 10 – 60 employees, it offers a system that monitors computers, network or servers 24x7 days a week. Technology Advantage allows small businesses to have the support of a large IT staff without the expense.
