Windows Server Update Services
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) is the highly-anticipated
upgrade to Software Update Services (SUS) from Microsoft. WSUS will provide
centralized patch management for all Microsoft products – including
service packs and security patches. Update Services helps you to: increase
efficiency and control over the update management process, minimize network
bandwidth usage and impact of network issues on the update process, easily
determine key system health and update deployment metrics, and optimize
the end user experience by minimizing disruption to productivity. Upgrade
paths exist for current users of SUS, or you can start your patch management
