Microsoft
Licensing Breakfast Briefing for
Charity/Not-for-Profit Sector
Are
you a 501c3 Company? If yes, keep reading…
Microsoft Licensing for the Not-for-Profit Sector
Licensing
and Software Assurance often generate confusion and questions. To help
our customers better understand the ins and outs of licensing and to make
sure they are fully utilizing its benefits, CPR is offering a bi-monthly
licensing “Breakfast Briefing”.
The
intent of this month's 1 hour session is to review charity/not-for-profit
licensing, the volume licensing programs available, and the benefits that
accompany those programs. 501c3 companies have special allowances in cost
and product offerings
that differ from the corporate Microsoft customer. In addition, we will
highlight some of those common challenges for charity/not-for -profit
customers and ways that you can save tremendous dollars by ordering under
the Microsoft Open Charity Program. CPR’s licensing specialist will
host these sessions – group size is limited to the first 10 companies.
The small group setting allows for group interaction, a Q&A time and
an opportunity to have your individual questions answered.

A
Backup Assessment Survey
Yes
No
Do
you have a data backup method?
Can
you verify that your backup worked that the copy
of the data is intact?
Do
your computer users save their files consistently in a
place that is being backup?
Is
someone responsible for making sure media gets rotated
and brought off-an on-site periodically?
If
your central file storage repository can’t be down for
more than a few hours, do you have a redundant hard
disk array on your server?
Are
you regularly applying service packs?
If
you answered no or are unsure about any of the above questions, CPR can
help.
CPR
has developed a comprehensive Backup Assessment offering
that provides an analysis and documentation of your current backup environment
and a comparison to the latest enterprise class backup technologies and
techniques. Clients are provided with a report that documents the strengths
and weaknesses of their current backup solution and recommendations for
growth and improvement. CPR’s Backup Assessment provides a solid
foundation for IT planning and budgeting. The report can also serve as
a powerful tool in gaining management support for upgrading a vulnerable
backup environment.
If
you need to validate critical data can be retrieved in the event of a
failed storage device contact the CPR Customer Support Center or your
Account Manager to see if you are a good candidate for a Backup Assessment.
Do
