Putt-a-Round for Kids – A Successful Event
CPR hosted the first annual Putt-A-Round for Kids event to raise money for the DeVos Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network. Our event was a huge success and helped CPR raise over $5000.00. The funds raised will be used by the Children's Miracle Network to purchase notebooks for the patients and their families to use while staying at the DeVos Children's Hospital.

The day long putting event, held within the walls of CPR, was attended by over 125 people. Our guests enjoyed themselves and many expressed interest in coming back next year.

Many sponsors helped support this event. Our Course and Clubhouse sponsors included: HP, Irwin Union Bank, EMC, Cisco, IBM, Lenovo, eMedia Solutions, Microsoft, SecurePipe, and Hedrick/Liebert. Hors D'oeuvres and prizes were generously provided by Watermark Country Club and The Grill at Watermark.

Our Mulligan Sponsors included: West Michigan Whitecaps, Software Plus, Ingram Micro, ANA Sports, Adeline Leigh, Grubb & Ellis | Paramount, LaSalle Bank, Pipp Moblie Storage Solutions and Synnex.

The generosity of our community is evident. We appreciate the support of our customers, teammates and partners in helping make this event such a success!

CPR Offers Online Backup with Protect
According the Computer Technology Review, the growing interest in remote backup is understandable considering that an estimated 60 to 70 percent of mission-critical data is stored at off-site locations, and according to the U.S. Census Bureau there are more than one million remote office/branch office (ROBO) sites nationwide.

In response to these needs CPR has introduce Protect – an online backup service that allows customers to backup, recover and protect their critical data. An agentless online backup and restore solution for distributed environments, protects all your mission critical information whether the data is on laptops, desktops or servers.

If you are struggling with “operational headaches” that come along with backup, lost data, long downtime during restore, and must deal with security and compliance issues, CPR’s Protect service addresses these concerns:
Security: Protect employs software and hardware security layers and eliminates unauthorized access to data
Integrity: proactively scans backed up data for signs of corruption
Operational Efficiency: completely non-invasive, non disruptive, and automatic backup/recover and disaster recovery for the entire environment
Compliance: archives remain encrypted, easily queried and recoverable

Locally stored in CPR’s Data Center, Protect is designed to fully automate the backup/recovery process, regardless of the type of data. To learn more about Online Data Backup click here or contact your CPR Account Manager today.
