Protecting
Your Data after Theft Occurs
Your worst nightmare has come true. You turned your head for a moment,
and your laptop computer disappeared. What are you going to do now! You
begin to think about all the work…. All the lost files… Can
you get them back? Sure, you have a backup.
You
realize that all the data on your laptop is now in someone else’s
hands. All your personal email messages, the company price lists, the
customer information. Now you begin to panic. Can your identity be stolen?
Are your company trade secrets safe? Do you need to report this data loss
to a Federal Agency? Do you have to notify your customers? What a mess!
This unfortunate episode occurs much too often. Don’t let it happen
to you!
Microsoft
Windows login names and passwords protect access to data files at the
operating system level. But this can be bypassed easily by even the most
novice of hackers. How do you protect the data on your hard drive from
all attempted unauthorized access?
CPR
has constructed a security service for this very purpose. By bundling
a solid and respected disk encryption product with a range of best practices
and services, the CPR Security Team can protect your data.
CPR
will encrypt your computer hard drive with very strong encryption, requiring
pre-boot authentication to the drive, even prior to starting the operating
system. Your data will be safe because the drive remains encrypted at
all times. Data security is not reliant on the operating system.
In
the midst of federal regulations and internal pressure to assure that
no data can be falsely obtained, this service is your “peace of
mind”.

Business
Insight Seminar
Enable Business Insight & Drive Business Performance
Thursday, October 26, 2006 Time: 8:30am – 11:30am
Location: To Be Determined
So much information, so little time. Almost
every department in an organization gathers data. They collect behavioral
data about their customers — what they buy, when they buy, how much
they buy. They gather performance data about their operations, competitors,
and partners. In most companies, business intelligence flows along departmental
lines into land-locked storage ponds.
BlueGranite, CPR and Microsoft have
partnered to present a thought-provoking seminar on how to enable business
insight and drive business performance utilizing Microsoft’s Business
Intelligence Platform: SQL Server 2005 (AS/IS/RS), MOSS 2007, Excel 2007,
and Performance Point. From data entry to customized reports, solutions
built with Microsoft technologies integrate easily and help organizations
become more fluid. A fluid organization can adapt their structures and
processes to achieve greater efficiency or effectiveness.
